Performance
Independently proven to work as well as, if not better than the market leader.
Use a little, save a lot
In line with our philosophy of ‘less is more’ our laundry powder is safely super concentrated. An average wash load in a top loading washing machine requires only 35mls of powder. For your convenience we have included a 35ml-measuring scoop, which is made from 100% post-consumer reground plastic. Because Front loader washing machines generally require much less water than top loaders we recommend ½ a scoop of laundry powder per (lightly stained) load which means you can get up to 64 washes per 1kg pack.
Cost per use:
Cost per wash for our laundry powder is significantly lower than the market leader.
ecostore Laundry Powder (1kg) = 64 washes per pack = 14 cents per wash
Market Leader (1kg) = 22 washes per pack = 43 cents per wash
(As per current average NZ supermarket pricings)
Washes per pack:
Front loader washing machine
500g – 32 washes
1kg – 64 washes
Fragrance Free
500g – 16 washes
Safer for our environment
Independent tests confirm that our laundry powder has the lowest total alkalinity in waste-water of any laundry powder in Australasia (Lanfax Laboratories 2009). A low total alkalinity score means that the grey water (or waste-water) from your washing machine can safely be re-used on your flower gardens, lawns and trees.
Leadership in manufacturing
ecostore laundry powder is made in NZ to the strictest environmental standards in our ISO14001, Enviromark Diamond, Kosher and Carbon Zero accredited factory.

POSSIBLE ALLERGENS:
There are 26 allergens commonly found in fragrances and essential oils. These allergens affect approximately 1% of the population. Some of them are natural components of essential oils called fractions. The allergenic properties of fractions naturally evolved in order to repel or attract insects and animals. We use both essential oils and fractions in our cleaners and body care ranges. They have been extracted from plants such as Citrus, Eucalyptus Lavender and Patchouli. They are more sustainable than synthetic fragrances derived from petrochemicals. We identify any allergens in our products to help protect sensitive individuals by allowing them to make an informed decision about whether to use them if they are aware of any potential sensitivity they may have. Using fractions gives our perfumer much more scope to develop elegant multilayered scents for a great sensory impact. It is mandatory to declare allergen fractions in cosmetics and more and more brands are disclosing the allergens in cleaning products.
